Personal Note
Dear reader,
before you dive into my story, I want to take this moment to thank you for what you have done. You have chosen to read my book, to offer me your trust, and to open your heart to my words.
It is an honor that I cherish.
Few things in life are as intimate or as powerful as the bond between reader and writer. It is something magical, unlike anything else on earth. It defies time and space. Through the power of words, we are creating a connection that will bring us as close together as two people can possibly become.
We will go to a place of extreme intimacy, intense beauty, and excruciating pleasure. Together, we will journey to the very essence of the relationship between man and woman, the moment of orgasm.
This book is about that spark, that moment, when a man and woman share climax. It is mystical, it is spiritual, and it is the one thing in the world that leads to new life. People call it sex, but those three letters fail to do it justice. It is so much more than that, and I am proud to spend the time we are connected exploring its meaning.
I dedicate this book to you, my reader. You have chosen to enter that moment with me, to explore its magic, and to experience its pleasure. It is something that will link us forever.

Chapter One
Ethan
Ethan McLaughlin entered the restaurant and saw his date, Mia, across the room. She looked impeccable as always, but she was sulking and Ethan took a deep breath as he approached.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said.
Mia smiled thinly from behind her menu and put it down. He knew she wouldn’t let on she was annoyed at him.
Ethan had tried to be on time, but being made to wait came with the territory when you dated a man like him. He was always working, whether he was on set acting, or putting out fires and chasing the money as one of Hollywood’s hottest producers and directors. He was a hot commodity in the industry, a real triple threat, and that made it hard for him to manage his schedule.
Most people knew him as an action hero, one of the best in Hollywood, but at the moment he was in the role of executive producer in what promised to be the hottest film of the year.
Mia was smitten with him and wouldn’t complain that he was late, even though it irked her. The truth was, no matter what he did, she wouldn’t complain.
Ethan wasn’t late because he was insensitive or disrespectful. He was just very focused on his work and his friends and colleagues understood that. They were used to him doing his own thing and fitting them in when he had time. He wasn’t accustomed to having to explain himself. People gave him a lot of leeway and he knew it. He was charming and charismatic and had an air of confidence that made people trust him. Everyone wanted to be in his inner circle. That’s the way it had always been for him. He was used to getting what he wanted, professionally and personally.
He was successful, but he worked hard for his success.
It didn’t hurt that he looked like a fashion model, with boyish good looks and a body that seemed to have been sculpted from fine Italian marble.
He saw Mia regarding him as he sat down and gave her his most charming smile. She reached over and ran her fingers through his disheveled hair. He pulled back slightly, appreciating the gesture but uncomfortable with the intimacy.
She didn’t seem to notice and reached for his hand.
“Busy day?” she asked.
He nodded, flagging down the waitress.
“Scotch, neat,” he said when the server came over. “The good stuff. And for you Mia?”
He could see Mia noticing the waitress recognize him, and before the young woman could tell Ethan she was a fan, Mia interrupted her.
“I’ll have the same,” she said with a dismissive gesture.
The action wasn’t lost on Ethan, or the waitress.
/>
In spite of his fame, he always treated people with respect. He didn’t like Mia’s dismissive tone, but not wanting to stir anything up, he nodded kindly and added, “Thank you.”
He looked at Mia and smiled. He had been seeing this blonde starlet occasionally for the past three months. They’d met on location while he was filming his last picture. She’d had a small part in the film.
One day, during a particularly long wait between scenes, he made his way to craft services for something to eat. She was smiling at him from across the set and he took that as an invitation to strike up a conversation. She was easy to talk to but he realized quickly they had nothing in common. The fact she was ten years younger than him was a big part of that.
Nevertheless, she was hot, easy to be around, and after their first date they became lovers. Their relationship was not one of the great love stories, but he enjoyed his time with her and the sex was fun. She didn’t seem to mind that he couldn’t give her much more, and if she did, she never brought it up. She was easy, no real complications, and that suited Ethan fine.
Not that he would object to meeting a woman who could challenge him.
He just never had.
Girls made it too easy for a man like him.
Maybe it was because they enjoyed the idea of him, his fame, his success, his money, but women went out of their way not to challenge him, not to put him off, and not to give him a reason to break up with them. And that was exactly the reason the relationships never lasted. The women he met were unable or unwilling to see past his celebrity and that prevented them from ever really seeing him for who he was.
His life was one superficial relationship after another.
It wasn’t that he didn’t believe in true love, he just assumed he would never find it. So he settled for less. There was no shortage of women willing to sleep with a movie star, so he happily made room for them in his bed. It came easy, too easy.
But what he really wanted was someone to see Ethan the man, to challenge him, excite him, inspire him, and most of all, love him for who he really was.
That wasn’t Mia and he knew it.
Tonight, however, he would enjoy her company and would see to it she enjoyed his, just the way she wanted it.
The waitress returned with their drinks and quickly took their order. Ethan liked this restaurant. It was one of his favorites because it was private and the food was outstanding. It was not uncommon for him to have his meals interrupted by admirers, and he was not the type to turn anyone away. He was grateful to his fans and always accommodated them, but he knew Mia got jealous.
One evening when they were at a popular Sushi Bar in Burbank, they were approached by a couple of young women who wanted to take selfies with him. Mia was patient for a few minutes, but then made it quite clear that they were taking too many liberties. It wasn’t that she was rude, but she gently scolded them, saying their time was up and to please give them their privacy. Ethan respected that Mia was uncomfortable with the attention his fans paid him, and made sure their next few dates were at more discreet venues. He wanted her to be comfortable. That was just his way.
Mia chirped about her day while Ethan listened, happy to let her fill the conversation. He looked forward to spending the evening with her and anticipated some very hot sex. Mia was very good at satisfying him physically, and he couldn’t wait to get her home. It had been a long day and she was a willing and attentive partner. As soon as the bill was paid, they drove back to his place and they fucked. And then they fucked again.
Ethan woke up at five AM and slipped his arm gently from beneath Mia’s head. It was rare for her to spend the night. Neither of them were good with morning afters. He just wanted to take a shower, grab a protein shake and head off to work. He had a lot to accomplish in a day and he could get a lot done in the early morning hours.
Mia, was soundly asleep and he contemplated leaving her a note telling her to take her time, make herself breakfast, and enjoy the morning. He looked at her in the early morning light. She was a beauty. His thoughts went back to the night before. Mia was a good lover but for some reason the intimacy just wasn’t there, even when he was deep inside her. She was playful and experienced and could work his cock with her mouth exquisitely. She seemed to have endless energy, but their chemistry ended in the bedroom. He remembered his orgasm from the night before, he was deep inside her wet pussy, her legs wrapped tight around his waist, but even as his cum thrust into her, his mind hadn’t been on the moment. He’d been thinking about a documentary on the Discovery channel he’d been watching about the rain forests in South America. He wasn’t even that interested in geography.
He wished he could love her.
It dawned on him that even though she was there with him, he was lonely.
He couldn’t put his finger on it exactly. It was like she was there only to satisfy her own needs. He felt she was turned on by his celebrity status more than she was turned on by him. Their conversations were one dimensional and pleasant, but never meaningful. She liked fucking a movie star. At one time, maybe that would have been enough, but now it just left him feeling flat and uninspired. He decided to let her sleep and went into the shower. He was making a mental checklist of what he needed to do that day when Mia stepped in behind him.
“Good morning, sexy,” she purred as her arms slipped around his waist. He turned around slowly and pushed his soapy body into her, gently easing her back into the wall while his tongue found her mouth. She ran her hands up his toned back and returned his kiss eagerly. He gently pulled away and planted a peck on her forehead.
“No, no, no. I have to get to work,” he chided with a smile, turning back into the stream of hot water. She slipped her hand around to his front and began gently massaging his cock. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the sensation and pressure in his groin, his manhood swelling. Her hand gently caressed his head, then stroked down his long shaft, her grip tightening. She was standing behind him and pressed herself against him. He felt her two breasts crush into his back as her fingers glided along his shaft, back and forth. He was hard and his cock throbbed with desire. Her other hand found his mouth and he let her slide a finger between his lips, sucking it for a moment. He almost got lost in the pleasure, but stopped himself, gently pulling her hand away.
“Mia, I seriously can’t do this,” he groaned.
“Well you say no, but your cock is saying yes,” she said, giggling.
He chuckled as he turned to face her, then gently placed her hands behind her back and nibbled on her neck. She moaned from the pleasure, enjoying his assertiveness. His cock was erect between them, he could have slipped it inside her so easily, but instead he pulled away and whispered in her ear.
“My cock always says yes, but this time my schedule wins the argument. You finish showering. I have to get ready for work.”
He let go of her hands and slapped her ass as he stepped out of the shower. He laughed when she stuck her tongue out at him playfully. He knew she wasn’t happy, but he was ready to get on with his day and if he was being honest, he wanted the date to be over.
After a quick breakfast he ushered Mia out the door, following behind her, grateful that she’d driven her own car to his place last night. He was running late, as usual. He walked her to her car and closed the door behind her, kissing her through the open window.
“I had a great time, Ethan. Will I see you soon?”
He wasn’t sure how he felt about that question, but nodded nevertheless.
“Soon,” he agreed, avoiding a new discussion. “Have a great day,” he added.
He walked to his Porsche, waving as she pulled away. Then he let out a sigh and his smile disappeared.
He wondered if he would ever find a woman who would fulfill him on every level. Maybe she didn’t exist? His phone rang and he shifted into producer mode, grateful for the distraction.
Chapter Two
Reagan
Ragnar walked ahead on the leash, his tail wagging w
ith pure puppy joy, the two women trailing after him. He was full of energy.
“He seems so happy today,” Reagan said.
She loved volunteering at the shelter where her friend Penny worked. Being with the dogs grounded her and made her feel relaxed and happy. They were a welcome reprieve from her work. She could just be herself and they were happy enough to allow that.
“He’s always happy to see you, Ray. You two are meant for each other. When are you going to see that?” Penny teased.
Reagan sighed and grimaced playfully at her friend.
“I am a lone wolf, Pen. You know that. Besides, Ragnar would lose interest quickly if he had to be around me all the time.”
She pulled up on his leash and he turned to see what she needed. The black lab bounded back to her, and waited for the scratch she was sure to give him. She did not disappoint, kneeling down and rubbing him behind the ears. She gave him a kiss and stood back up.
“You know I adore this mutt but my place is not suitable for dogs, especially when I’m working.”
Penny smiled at her friend, knowing she was wrong about Ragnar losing interest, but right about her job. They walked down the field at the back of the shelter in silence, enjoying the contrast of the cool morning air and the warmth of the sun on their shoulders. Ragnar stopped in front of the bench, knowing the routine well.
Reagan came by at least three times a week to walk him, and they always stopped at the same bench by the stream. The girls sat and Ragnar curled up at Reagan’s feet, happy to rest with her.
“How’s Will?” Reagan asked.
Will was Penny’s husband, a good man with a big heart. Penny deserved that kind of love. She was the kindest person Reagan had ever known and the only person that knew Reagan’s story. She adored Penny and Penny adored her. She was grateful for their friendship and for Penny’s unconditional love.
